For shits and giggles I decided to check up on 'ye olde weebly blog' and guess what I found? there are still people who visit this blog(or the statistics on this website are a bit wonky).
It's been a while since I last posted a blog and stuff, so I'm just wondering what all these people do here?
How am I? you might be wondering.
I am quite well actually. Since I came back from Liverpool, I have been extremely busy. Last semester I tried to catch up on as many courses as possible so that I would have it a bit easier in this first semester of my final year(knock on wood).
Boy, was I wrong. Taking on the educational minor has given me tons of work to do and combined with the subjects I still have to get through for English, it is quite a big load. But ya'll know me; i'm a fighter.
Eventhough, the educational minor is a lot of work, I am having so much fun. The school I "work" at is the best, the children I work with are the best, my coach is the best, and teaching is just the best! Before I started I was not quite sure yet that teaching was the thing for me, but I had always loved the idea of it, so why not give it a try. I was so nervous starting out but when I got the hang of it a little it was just so much fun. I really hope I can continue doing this for a while, hopefully abroad but if not I am just fine with staying here, in my itty bitty country. We'll see what life throws my way!
English is good as well. Sent some emails around hoping someone would want to help me with my BA thesis. Next semester I will just have my teaching and my thesis so I can really give a lot of time to both!
The boyfriend and I are still together, going on 5 years now. Still not sick of him so that is a good sign. My family is well thankfully and so are my friends. We've all been so busy lately that we hardly have time to see each other. Plus, 2 of our group are now studying abroad, and another one is going away for like 3 months when the other 2 finally come back. Pffft. So sadly we won't be able to meet in full anytime soon, but I cherish all the time we spend together even if it is just bits of us.
What else is there to tell?
I've met up with my Spanish ladies over the summer, and hopefully they'll come over to the Netherlands in April/May-ish so I can show them all the beauty of the Netherlands. Just like they have shown me all the beauties of Madrid.
I have a tattoo now. Got it done 2 weeks ago. it is a very small rune on my wrist, it looks like a pointy P and means 'bliss'.
I have my very own tiny christmas tree of which I am immensely proud, which is silly but I don't care.
And that seems to be about it for the past uhm 7 months.
Goodbye strangers!
