Let us be grateful to people who makes us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our soul blossom -- Marcel Proust
Hello everybody,
I am back from 4 magnificent days of London and I am super tired. We saw so many things in 4 days I can't even wrap my head around it. Eventhough this is the 3rd time I visit, it never fails to amaze me how wonderful London is. The atmosphere, the people, the sights, the underground. One day I might live there but for now I had to say goodbye. I had so much fun with my spanish roomies! Thank you so much girls, you are the best. pictures of our adventures will follow soon! They include: Camden town, national gallery, natural history museum, national history museum(which are easily confused) and portobello market. It was just all so lovely. Thankfully it was not too cold, maybe even warmer than Liverpool. The bus ride to and from London were nice enough, I am not a big fan of busses but it was alright you know and just a lot cheaper. All together we had a lot of fun!
So so tired, but the day is not over yet, I'll be seeing 2 of my former roommates probably for the last time in a very long time. We are going out to have some sushi! yay! It is all becoming a bit surreal. My mom will be here tomorrow morning, and then 2 days later I will be going home. How!? Time really does fly when you are having fun.
With this blog I would just like to say thank you to everyone who has made my erasmus exchange unforgettable: Flat 10, my classmates(now friends), Coen, Vriendinnies, mom and dad, Mark and Nicolle, my grandparents. You are amazing and without you I could not have done it. Thanks for your support, your encouragement, your friendship and your help.
This experience will stay with me for a lifetime. Know that my doors are always open for you guys to come visit and
I really hope to see you guys in the future.
I came here to study and to have a good time and I certainly did. I learned so much about myself and about English that I can't even wrap my head around all of it yet. I've seen so much of the country and I really feel like I've learned things I could not have learned it the Netherlands.
I am so grateful that I had this opportunity and I would strongly recommend everyone to take it if they get the same chances!
Thank you Liverpool, thank you England. A new place that I was allowed to call home for atleast a while, it'll always have a special place in my heart now.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
