There is no mile as long as the final one that leads back home. -- Katherine Marsh
Hello Everybody,
Sorry I am a bit late. Another week has passed and we are nearing the end of the semester. By now I know my exam dates so I can plan my trip to go home. On one hand I am really happy about that but on the other hand I am gonna miss my roomies a lot and England and living here as well. I still have three days before going to the Netherlands and I have to do a lot of stuff. Buy some presents for christmas, do laundry, pack my things for the vacation, pack some things to prepare for moving, work on my essay, clean my room, not to mention eat and sleep and even go to class. pfft. I will welcome that christmas break with arms wide open. When I get back the 30th Patri and me are gonna start planning the move and the 31st we are obviously going to party our butts off. My exams are near the end of January so we have a bit of time to maybe plan a trip to somewhere in the UK before I leave.
Eventhough on Sunday I am leaving for the Netherlands to visit family and friends the school stress is not over yet. I still have an essay to hand in for my Shakespeare module and ofcourse I have the exams in January. Luckily tomorrow I might get some of my grades back which will hopefully take the stress off of things a bit. I am smuggling a usb stick with essay stuff on it to the Netherlands but I will probably not do any of it.
I am just going to enjoy seeing family and friends. My boyfriend and I will go to the zoo. I will get stuffed at my grandparents house and I will party with my friends. I am a bit nervous about travelling because I've been oversleeping a lot lately. I will go to bed on time the rest of the week and then all will go smoothely on sunday morning.
I have my little suitcase already packed so I can just dress and leave. Also this way I do not have to worry about those clothes getting dirty in any way.
Last Saturday we had our international Christmas Dinner with our flat and it was amazing. The food was great, everyone looked beautiful and we had a lot of fun exchanging secret santa gifts. I got an awesome giraffe from my chines roommate Julia so that is now the giraffe's name. We had such a good few months together and I am just super glad it clicked with all of us. I sure have a lot of countries to visit now. haha.
My week so far was quite boring. My spanish roommates went to Spain to visit family and I worked on my essay. My Irish roommate's parents are here at the moment helping her pack for her move back home. They are just the sweetest people. Really gonna miss her a lot but thankfully she'll briefly visit in January!
I wish it was Sunday already.
Goodnight
